Arc of Hilo

Adult Day Health Program

Each person in the Adult Day Health Program has an individualized program for training, socialization, and recreation which is created with input from the individual and their Department of Health case manager, family members and/or caregivers and staff members of their choice. Programs are based on meaningful, age appropriate goals and objectives. Frequent review of each program allows for modification as needed.

We provide a well balanced day in a fun and caring environment at our two locations: Hilo and Puna. At our Hilo facility we have basketball, green houses and gardens, as well as a large above-ground swimming pool. In Puna we have a smaller facility located in Pāhoa. In both programs, we go to parks, beaches, picnic area, tourist attractions, bowling alleys, karaoke, museums, the movies and much, much, more!
