The Arc of Hilo

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people with developmental or other disabilities on Hawai‘i through educational, recreational, vocational, and skills training as well as employment and residential opportunities.

The Arc of Hilo believes:

• People with disabilities have the right to live, work, and play in the least restrictive environment;
• People have the right to a comprehensive and integrated individualized program and services designed to maximize development, and;
• Families and caregivers play a central role in the lives of people with disabilities and are an important part of our organization.
